I created this recipe out of necessity. It is so great to be able to enjoy this recipe with just a few simple ingredients you have around the house: Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen mixed berries (I use MOOV berries. See Recommended products)
1/2 cup almond milk
1 scoop vanilla vegan protein powder
In a NUTRABULLET OR NINJA cup, break up a frozen banana.
Add frozen berries. At least 1 cup or more depending on how large a serving you want.
Add 1/2 cup plant milk then add the protein powder so it doesn't stick to the bottom of the cup.
Mix until the blades spin but the fruit doesn't mix.
Add 2 tablespoons of plant milk at a time and return to the mixer until the fruit mixes completely. You don't want to add too much milk at a time so it's more like ice cream than smoothie. You may have to use a spoon to break up frozen chunk if the frozen fruit needs help mixing.
