Berry Banana 'Ice Cream'

I created this recipe out of necessity.  It is so great to be able to enjoy this recipe with just a few simple ingredients you have around the house:
Ingredients:
  • ​​1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries (I use MOOV berries. See Recommended products)
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla vegan protein powder
Directions:
  1. ​In a NUTRABULLET OR NINJA cup, break up a frozen banana.
  2. Add frozen berries.  At least 1 cup or more depending on how large a serving you want.
  3. Add 1/2 cup plant milk then add the protein powder so it doesn't stick to the bottom of the cup.
  4. Mix until the blades spin but the fruit doesn't mix.
  5. Add 2 tablespoons of plant milk at a time and return to the mixer until the fruit mixes completely.  You don't want to add too  much milk at a time so it's more like ice cream than smoothie.  You may have to use a spoon to break up frozen chunk if the frozen fruit needs help mixing.
  6. Once it's mixed serve and enjoy at once.
